Music week 17 lesson 1

In this Music lesson, Mr.Sadrakh first checked our attendences, then he told us that the next day will be the last assesment practise for our melody. Then he disscused which instrument should do which scale. Then he ask questions to some students of some low and high notes in the board. After that we went to our instrument class. There we practise g and c major scale, also our melody to prepare. That was the end of todays music class!!!!!!!!!!!!

Music week 16

In this lesson, Mr.Sadrakh first checked our attendences. Then he told me to read last weeks reflection. Since some students didn't write it, including me, we had to stand up. Then Jonathan read his reflection. He was the only one who has the reflection. Then everyone practise their melody to perform for the next week or 2. People would comment on us so we could improve. Then time was up with no instrument class and that was the end of the week for music!!!

Music week 15 lesson 2

In this music lesson, Mr.Sadrakh first checked our attendences, then Mr.Hari and Mr.John came in the music class to tell us about more scales and chords. Then he would ask people questions and thoes who couldn't answer it would have to stand up until they get a chanse to answer correctly. It was so fun and intresting. I stand up twice. Once because I wanted too. It was very fun. Since it took a long time, we couldn't go to instrument class. That's the and of this week's music class!!!

Music week 15 lesson 1

In this music lesson, first Mr.Sadrakh checked our attendence. Then he announce the students who have submited their blog reflection. Then we discussed about more scales either flat or sharp scales. Mr.Sadrakh would ask us some questions about these scales. After that we answered somw questions from the white board. At first I didn't understand then I did.
Then we went to our music instrument class. There me and my flute friends practise our own melody cause in December wehad to present our melody. Then Mr.Hari modified my melody but we weren't alowed to change our assesment. That's the end of today's music lesson!!!

Music week 14 lesson 2

In this music lesson, first Mr.Sadrakh checked our attendence. Then he check if we have done and send our blog reflection. Then Mr.Sadrakh asked us about all scales and chord that we have learned in music class. Then he asked us if we understood about the scales and chord just to make sure know. Because we were done with our instrument assesment, we decided that we will not go to instrument class. So then, we just discussed about scales and chords plus he asked us questions, then we went out. Thats all for this music lesson!

Music week 14 lesson 1

In this music lesson, we did our retest. I improved a bit. So did the others who took the retest. Then we did a reflection about all the things we done on this term. I didn't write the reflection completely.
There was no time for instrument class so thats the end of todays lesson.

Music week 13 lesson 2

In this music lesson, we performed our very own song in front of the whole class. It was scary at first but then it was ok. Everyone performed and teveryone did preety good. The good thing was Mr.Sadrakh gave us a second chance to retest our melody assesment playing. Since I had the chance of improving, I took it.
There was not any time for our flute instrument class so then we went out.

Music week 13 lesson 1

In this music lesson, our first Mr.Sadrakh checked attendence. Then we had a lecture about B flat and F flat major scale. For me it was hard. Then the whole class had a worksheet about it including some chords.
Then in flute instrument class, we practice our melody so we can be ready to perform. I was good at it cause I practised. We had to be ready to perform our melody the very next day. Thats the end of today's music lesson.

Music week 12 lesson 2

In this music lesson, Mr.Sadrakh first checked out attendence. Then he told us what the due date was for the FINALE 2009 was. Then some students including me practise my melody in front of everyone. Then in flute instrument class, I had to keep practising so I could be perfect at it. Then we went!!!

Music week 12 lesson 1

In this lesson, Mr.Sadrakh took our attendence. Then he checked if we already did the FINALE 2009. Then Mr.Herry teach us more things about the FINALE. After that we didi our reflection about the Indonesian song we sang weeks ago.
Then in flute instrument class we practise to play our melody properly. It was a bit hard. Thats the end of todays music lesson.

Music week 11 lesson 2

In this lesson, Mr.Sadrakh check our attendence first. Then he checked if we copy our song ( melody ) and lyrics into the piece of paper. Then Mr.Hery teached us about FINALE 2009 instaling. It was hard. Then both the teachers try it in their computer and gave examples which works. In flute instrument class, we practise the scales again. Thats the end of music this week!

Music week 11 lesson 1

In this lesson, we copy our melody into a paper. And we also write our reflection. Then we sang the chinese song silver moon boat, we sang it 2 by 2. I sang it with a girl again. In my instrument class, I practised G and C scale again. Thats all we did this music lesson.

Music week 10 lesson 2

In this lesson we sang a good Indonesian song. First we sang it together. Then we sang it 2 by 2. It was preety fun. In instrument class we practice the g scale but I had many difficulties and have to practice more.

Music week 10 lesson 1

In this lesson we sang a song called GUNDUL GUNDUL PACUL CUL. It was very nice. We sang it 2 by 2, I sang with a girl. In the music instrument class, we practise G and C scale in our flute. Then Mr.Harry played a song for a while and he was good at it. Thats all we did in this lesson.

Music week 9 lesson 2

In this music lesson we discussed about the second  petatronic scale which is 1,3,4,5,7. The teacher asked us to make an 8 bar melody. Then he would play it for us. Then he gave us an assignment to do 16 bars of one of the petatronic scale. In instrument class the teacher was absent and time was almost up so we didn't get a chance to do anything.

Music week 9 lesson 1

In this lesson the teacher asked who haven't done their homework. After that we practice and learn about a scale called the petatronic scale which is ( do, re, mi, sol, la = 1,2,3,5,6 ) Then the teacher gave us homework which is making an 8 bar scale about the petratronic scale.

In instrument class we practiced the g scale it was very hard to memorize the fingering then we went home!!! 

Music week 8 lesson 2

In this lesson we discuss our G Major scale. Then the teacher would ask us question about scales. Then we learned the 2 sharp scale. Also we had to answer question about note counting and how many sharps there is in diffrent scales. Then Mr.Harry explain about the music workbook because some people didnt understand!!! In instrument class we played Mary Had A little Lamb in another way which sounded better!!!

Music week 8 lesson 1

In this lesson we got our assessment score, I got 80 out of 100. Then we practice a scale. Then Mr.Harry told us about our music paper and we need to go to the student desk and do the paper. Then we got a g major scale homework. Then in instrument class I practiced a scale.

Music week 7 lesson 2

In this lesson we performed our instrument. The other instrument students played really good. My flute was a bit broken so I borrowed someone else's flute. The good thing was my instrument teacher fixed it. Than a teacher name Mr. Rudi. Wisnu played his trumpet and his french instrument, it looked hard but he could do it.

Music week 7 lesson 1

In this lesson, Mr. S.  told us to submit our booklets. Some of us didn't submit so they had another chance. It took a long time so we had to move to instrument class. In there I had to play a hard exercise, and the teacher would lecture me about the fingering again, because I forgot!!!

Music week 6 lesson 2

In this lesson, my group brought a mac laptop so the pictures can be seen. But the cable didn't fit so we couldn't present. Then the teacher gave us a bad score. But I found out that he was just joking. Then we made a reflection and he gave us homework to make a booklet which contains pages of our powerpoint. And he also told us to practice to play our instruments because the next week will be the assessment to play our instruments!!!

Music week 6 lesson 1

In this lesson, we perform our powerpoint. My group was the the last one. We had some difficulties. Because the pictures was blank. It was because we used a mac laptop. So the teacher was kind enough to give us another chance. Also we had to change some information. We had to skip instrument class because it took a lot of time to present!!!

Music week 5 lesson 2

In this lesson we practice a scale . In instrument class the teacher made us play Mary Had A Little Lamb to see our improvement. While I played he teaches the others to blow and to play a song.

Music week 5 lesson 1

In this lesson our teacher asked us if we have finish our project of course the answer was no. But one of the group was finish. In instrument class I began to improve in my flute. But i still needed more practice in order to play better.

Music week 4 lesson 2

In this lesson our teacher gave us a hard project to do. He told us to make a powerpoint presentation about an Indonesia Instrument. My friend picked Papua. She tough it was easy. Then we assigned who will do what in this project. In instrument class I learned how to play MARY HAD A LITTLE LAND in my flute. I had to practice more. Then the lesson was over.

Music week 4 lesson 1

In this lesson, the teacher checked our homework and i got a B. Not to bad. Then we still learn about the scale. Our teacher would ask us some question about the notes in the major scale.

In instrument class our teacher played his baby trumpet. He was a professional. Then he made us learn how to do the fingering of the flute. It was very hard. End of lesson!!! 

Music week 3 lesson 2

in this lesson we learned a major scale that was pretty hard. The teacher explain how many counts  there from one note to another. After he explained it was a lot easier then I expected. It was easy. We got homework. In instrument class I practiced to blow again. And the teacher said my blowing is ok now. And he said he would teach us a song. Lesson over.

Music week 3 lesson 1

In this lesson we sang the song we sang the other week. It was 4 by 4. At least I was with a boy. Than I watched other students sing the song. In instrument class I got a new and better flute and i practice blowing again. I had to practice just a little bit more. Then we went!

Music week 2 lesson 2

In this lesson, we learn another great song called " Apuse Kokondao ". Once again the class have to sing it. First boy than girls. In instrument class, my teacher told me that my flute was broken and I had to get a new one. I was so worried. And so the lesson was over and we went.

Music week 2 lesson 1

In the second week of music, we sang Oi Nani Keke again. But this time we did it 3 by 3. I was with 3 other girls. That song was very interesting and good. In instrument class, I finally can blow with only a little bit of difficulties and I also had breathing problems. I couldn't blow so long because my breathing skills are week. So my teacher told me to do more practise and to never give up!!!

Music week 1 lesson 2

In the second lesson of music, we san Oi Nani Keke again together. First the boys sang, than the girls than together. In the instrument lesson I learn how to blow my flute ( woodwind ). But I had some difficulties and the teacher said i had to practice 30 minutes a day! Then the lesson was over! And we went out. That was a great lesson for me.

Music week 1 lesson 1

In the first lesson of music, our teacher was Mr.S. Hutapea. The first lesson we had to pick our instrument for the year. It was either guitar, woodwind, piano, or violin. I chose woodwind. Then we learn a song called O I NANI KEKE.  Then in instrument class we heard our woodwind teacher Mr.Harry played a very good song! Then we went home!!!
